Urban Edge Refunds & Returns Policy 

At Urban Edge, we value your trust and want you to feel confident when shopping with us.
Every product we sell is made or sourced with care, and we aim to ensure your order arrives in good condition and meets your expectations.

This policy explains how returns, repairs, cancellations, and warranties work for our customers in Zimbabwe.


1. Refunds

Urban Edge does not offer cash refunds for change of mind or unwanted items.

If a product is damaged, defective, or does not meet agreed standards, we will repair it or replace parts where possible.
Our goal is always to make it right and ensure you are satisfied with the final product.


2. Return Period

You may request a return within 5 days of delivery, as long as:

  • The item is still in its original condition

  • All packaging, accessories, or attachments are included

  • There is no sign of use or damage not covered by warranty

Please note: custom-made items (e.g. curtains, blinds, furniture made to order) may not qualify for return unless faulty.


3. Order Cancellation

If you need to cancel your order, you may do so within 5 days of placing it.

All cancellations carry a 20% cancellation fee to cover administration, production booking, and handling costs.

Once production has begun, orders cannot be cancelled.


4. Warranty Coverage

We stand behind the products we supply.

  • Furniture Frames: 1-year warranty
    Covers structural issues or visible manufacturing faults.

  • Fabric, Upholstery & Soft Furnishings: 1-month warranty
    Covers stitching or fabric defects, not wear and tear or accidental damage.

  • Blinds & Curtain Hardware: 6-month warranty
    Covers mechanical or installation-related issues.

If something goes wrong during the warranty period, we will assess and repair where applicable.


5. How to Start a Return or Repair

Please contact us if you experience a problem with your order.

6. Conditions for Return

For us to accept a return:

  • The item must be unused and in original packaging

  • Urban Edge must inspect and approve it

  • Items damaged through misuse or poor handling cannot be returned

  • Return costs are the customer’s responsibility unless there is a confirmed manufacturing defect

We reserve the right to decline returns that do not meet these conditions.


7. What Happens After Approval

Once your return or repair request is approved:

  • We will arrange collection or ask you to bring the item in

  • Repairs or corrections will begin as soon as possible

  • Timelines may vary based on the type and extent of damage

We aim to handle all repairs professionally and efficiently.
